CCTV 2 "Timing Finance" focus on CPEV’s Ni-MH battery business

On March 21, CCTV 2's "Timing Finance"TV program focused on the production and R&D of CPEV's Ni-MH battery business.

At present, CPEV's Ni-MH battery products have been growing steadily in HEV and consumption fields, while being applied in a number of new types of energy storage batteries such as nickel-zinc square batteries, and shipments have been realized for the backuppower market of European and American communication centers.

With the improvement of energy storage safety attention and the growth offrequency regulationmarket demand, CPEV's Ni-MH battery products willbe used in more fields". During the NPC and CPPCCthis year, Yan Hongwei, deputy to the National People's Congress and vice president of the  Hangzhou Branch of the Rare Earth Research Institute of Baotou Steel Group, suggested that relevant ministries and commissions re-examine the application ofNi-MHbatteries in energy storage, and support the application and technology research and development of this mature technology in new scenarios.
