In August, Hunan Copower EV Battery Co.,ltd was founded.
In January, Corun fully acquired Japan Shonan Factory which was owned by Panasonic and established Shonnan CE company.
In October, CPEV’s fully- automatic Ni-MH power battery production line was put into production.
In October, Geely and Changan completed CPEV’s battery vehicle verification. In December, CPEV passed Toyota’s supply chain quality supervision.
The first batch of electrodes exported to PEVE were officially shipped from CPEV, which were assembled into batteries by PEVE and provided to Toyota for loading.
The hybrid electric bus loaded CPEV power batteries and energy packs are over 600 vehicles.
